Ronald LeRoy Woods, 74, of Hermitage, Mo., died at his home November 30, 2011. He was born October 23, 1937, the son of Willie R. and Melba N. (Martin) Woods, in a farmhouse northwest of Greensburg, Kansas. Ron graduated from Greensburg High School in 1955.
Funeral services will be held at Roberts-Blue Funeral Home in Emporia, Kansas on Saturday, December 3, 2011 with family visitation at 11:00am followed by the service at 11:30am. The service will be conducted by Pastor Charity Sandstrom, First Friends Church, Emporia. Burial will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.

Ruth Elizabeth (Kruse) West, 90, died September 15, 2011 at the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, KS. She was born October 5 to Clarence Clemence Kruse and Eva Irene (Williams) Kruse at their family farm southeast of Greensburg. She was an only child. Viewing will be held Friday, September 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. with services on Saturday, September 17 at 2:30 with flower service at 1:15 at the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg.
