  • Ora Ellen (Logan) Doyle, 79 passed peacefully away Aug. 31, 2012 at Kingfisher Regional Hospital in Kingfisher, OK.

She was born March 16, 1933, in Greensburg, KS the daughter of Samuel and Lillie (Selby) Logan. Ora was a proud Greensburg resident her whole life until the May 4, 2007 tornado which relocated her to Kingfisher to live near family. She worked for many years as a store manager in Greensburg for The Big Well Gift Shop, Handi-Mart, Kwik Shop Convenience Store, Sunflower Plaza Store in Mullinville, KS and retired as a part time employee for Duckwall's Variety Store in Greensburg prior to the tornado.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensburg and National Genealogy Society.

On Oct. 18, 1952 she married Marshall Wayne Doyle in Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 42 years; four brothers, Joe Dee Logan, James Logan, David Logan, John Logan and one sister, Winona Naumann.

Survivors include two sons and families, Terry Doyle and wife, Mary, of Grapevine, TX and Larry Doyle and wife, Lori, of Okarche, OK; one sister, Rowena Lund and husband, Clint, of Wyoming, MN; two sisters-in-law, Virgie Logan and Marlene Logan; five grandchildren, Dawn Schaap and husband, Brandon, Jason Mann and wife, Ashley, Lance Doyle and wife, April, Lacey Doyle, Libby (Doyle) Rother and husband, Brian; two great-grandchildren, Preston and Garrett Schaap and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Kiowa County Historical Museum/Kiowa County Memorial Library in Greensburg, KS; the First Baptist Church, Greensburg, KS or Alzheimer's Foundation of America in care of Huber-Benson Funeral Home at 100 S. Barker Ave., El Reno, OK 73036 or call (405) 262-1202.

Funeral services will be held in Greensburg at the First Baptist Church on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 2 p.m. with burial in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
