Leree Price-Kennedy, 76 passed away on Friday May 4, 2012 at Good Samaritan Care Center in Dodge City, Ks. Leree was born in Greensburg to Clifford and Thelma (Liggett) Howell. She was a longtime Dodge City resident and formerly a resident of Mullinville. She was a farmer, semi-truck driver and waitress. She was a member of the Wilroads Gardens Christian Church and the FCE of Ford County. She married Jack Price on May 1, 1954. They divorced and she married Harold “Hap” Kennedy on May 19, 1991 and Hap passed away on Dec. 16, 2006. She is survived by her four sons Mike Price and his wife Marta, Greg Price and his wife Marta of Mullinville; Quentin Price and his wife Barbara of Beaumont, Tx. and Conway Price and his wife Mercy, and her daughter Twyla Hadley and her companion David Salsbury of Dodge City; her sister Theda Rose of Pratt; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and her foster son Darmond “Woody” Moss of Greensburg. She is preceded in passing by her parents, her husband and her daughter Jacqueline Price. Services were held on Monday May 7, 2012 at the Wilroads Gardens Church in Dodge City with Pastor Jeff Hiers presiding. A burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Greensburg.
