  • PAM'S PANORAMA: New laundry product

  • There are some new items on the market to help make you laundry day a little easier.  They are the liquid-unit-dose gel pacs.  They work much the same way dishwasher pacs do.

  • There are some new items on the market to help make you laundry day a little easier.  They are the liquid-unit-dose gel pacs.  They work much the same way dishwasher pacs do.

    They are pre-measured and the ads say just put them in the washer and simplify you laundry routine.
    The American Cleaning Institute gave these tips on how to use this new laundry pac:
    •  Add the pac to the bottom of the washing machine, both top- loader and high – efficiency front loader machines, before adding clothes.  Do Not put the pac in the machine’s dispenser drawer.
    •  Do not cut or tear the pouch.  It is designed to dissolve completely in the machine, even in cold water.
    •  Use only 1 pac for most loads, but if you clothes are heavily soiled, you can use 2.
    •  Do not use for hand washing or pretreating.
    •  If pacs stick together, do not pull hard.  That will tear the pac. Just place them together in the machine.
    •  Handle the pacs with dry hands and remember to close the bag or tub completely after each use.  The pacs’ film is designed to dissolve quickly in water so it is important to store the pacs away from water.
    •  Remember to keep these products away from and out of reach of children and pets. 
    •  Keep the product in its original container with the label intact.
    Just another product than can make your laundry chores a little easier. Now if the clothes
    would just move themselves to the dryer!
