Pratt - Virginia H. Young, 99, passed away July 13, 2021 in Kingman, Kansas.

She was born September 13, 1921 in Wichita, Kansas to Andrew and Nell (Gore) Hamant.

Virginia married Loree Young at Lake Charles, Louisiana. He preceded her in death.

Virginia attended Benton High School 1939 from Benton, Kansas.

She was an Insurance Agent

She was a member of the United Christian Church, in Lake Charles.

She enjoyed painting and did a lot of traveling over seas and in the states.

She is survived by Sister, Dorothy J. Ballinger of Pratt, KS and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; Sister, Edna Munday and brother, Alvin Hamant.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas

Memorials may be made to the Kansas School for the Deaf in care of Larrison Mortuary, Ltd.
