The Kiowa County Mavericks outscored the Hodgeman County Longhorns 15-5 in the second quarter on the way to recording a 46-32 road victory in Southern Plains-Iroquois Activities Association action.

Landon Davis was 9-of-12 from the field and hit all eight of his free throws to score 26 points to lead the Mavericks (7-9), while Frank Cuevas added 13 in the win.

Kyle Hayes recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead Hodgeman County (7-10).

SATANTA — The Bluejays built a 13-point halftime lead on the way to the  Southern Plains-Iroquois Activities Association road victory over the Indians.

Corey McCann was 5-of-7 from the field to lead Ashland (11-6) with 14 points, while Kole Konrade and Tayton Cunningham scored 12 apiece in the Bluejays' victory.

Trathen Stanfill scored 13 points to lead Satanta (9-8) and Chris Gonzales added 10 in the loss.
