You're almost certainly a believer in 'global warming' and a solid on-the-plantation Democrat Party voter.
Nothing else can explain the mindset of the 'environmentalist' fanatic who can't get his mind (or whatever he uses in lieu thereof) around the fact that the anthropogenic global warming (AGW) hypothesis is the greatest scientific fraud in the history of the human race, perpetrated by a constellation of grasping politicians, empire-building bureaucrats, 'Cargo Cult Science' charlatans, and legacy media slurpers not a single one of whom any sane American would trust with a used mousetrap, much less control of the national economy.
So let's work out some ground rules here, okay?
The next time you meet a 'global warming' true believer, remember that this clown is working on the basis of what is either a psychopathic delusion (poor schmuck), the equivalent of wide-eyed religious fanaticism (kind of like the Taliban, you know), or a plan to defraud his neighbors with schemes that are designed to tax helpless little old ladies so heavily that they die in poverty, of malnutrition or hypothermia in the dead of winter.
In any case, they warrant your active intervention.
I suggest kicking them squarely and repeatedly in the crotch, particularly after you've gotten them on the ground and you can REALLY get the boot in on 'em.
Aerobic exercise for you and appropriate negative reinforcement for them.
And who knows? You might keep them from reproducing.
