Luella Williams, 103, died Thursday, September 29 2011 at South Wind Hospice House in Pratt. Williams was born in Meade County on October 20, 1907 and moved to Kiowa County with family members shortly thereafter.  She was a 1925 graduate of Greensburg High School and remained in the community after graduating. She married Carl Williams, also of Greensburg, in June of 1929. Their son Michael was born four years later. In 1972, after 49 years of employment, she retired from Greensburg State Bank and continued to reside in Greensburg. She is preceded in death by her husband and five sisters. She was the last surviving member of the GHS class of 1925. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Michael and Kaye Williams, Kinsley; granddaughter Meganne, Hays; Charla and Patrick Little, Greensburg, and numerous great-grandchildren.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5 at Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg, with Rev. Terry Mayhew officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Edwards County Hospital or South Wind Hospice House in care of McKillip Funeral Home, Kinsley.
