EDITORIAL: 'Finding Refreshment in the new year'

New Year’s means different things to different people. It is a time to prepare taxes; a time to reflect on and look towards the previous and upcoming 365 days, a time to make promises (and then break them) and it is one of the only two days during of the year when grown men can wear diapers in public and get away with it.

EDITORIAL: 'You might have noticed some new in the Signal this week'

By now you might have noticed something new in this week’s Signal. No, not my somewhat ridiculous looking new profile picture (created in response to a number of reader comments which equated my previous picture with a “mugshot”), but the wonderful new Faith and Values page. What a wonderful new layout! and the “Foundation” piece by Jeff, the local Mennonite minister, was wonderful, and the church schedule is much easier to read!
