MULLINVILLE - Mable Irene McCormick, 94, died July 26, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Center, Dodge City. She was born September 14, 1913, in Ionia, Michigan, the daughter of Deuaine and Nellie Gorhman Spencer. A longtime Kiowa County resident, she was a homemaker.
On December 15, 1945, she married Philip A. McCormick, in Bucklin, Ks. He died September 28, 1973. Survivors include: a daughter, Donna Sue Hunter, Dodge City, Ks.; a sister, Mary Ellen Patee and husband Edward, Bucklin, Ks.; a brother-in-law George McCormick, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; a granddaughter, Holly Hunter-Legg and husband Matt, Dodge City, Ks.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday July 30, 2008, at Minnis Mortuary Chapel, Bucklin, with Dick Robbins presiding. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday July 29, 2008, at the mortuary.
