Adopt an Angel

The Kiowa County Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring this year’s Adopt and Angel. Angels will be available at all Kiowa County banks starting on Nov. 16. Bring your unwrapped gift to any area bank or the Greensburg United Methodist Church on or before Dec. 14. Brighten a child’s life by adopting an angel or two. Part D Enrollment

The Annual Enrollment Period for Part D medicine insurance is Oct. 15 –Dec. 7. All Medicare beneficiaries who wish to enroll, review, or change their plans can do

so during this time. S.H.I.C.K. representative Carolyn Irvin will be available beginning Oct. 17,  Monday through Thursday after 3 p.m. at the hospital; Friday at Haviland

Street Closure

The 300 block of Sycamore St. in Greensburg between Iowa St. and Wisconsin St. will be closed during the construction of the Big Well Museum.

Leadership Institute

Barclay College will host a three-month course on the New Testament taught by Barclay Alum Kevin Lee. Lee will teach courses on the first Monday of each month. Nov. 7 he will teach “The Gospels and Life and Teaching of Jesus;” Dec. 5 he will teach “Acts and Letters of Paul;” Jan. 2 he will teach “The General Letters and Revelation.” Each class is $10 or free for Barclay students. Refreshments and fellowship begin at 6:30 p.m. in Jackson Hall with classes beginning at 7 p.m.

 

Holiday Home Tours

Tickets are on sale now for the Holiday Home Tours at $7 each and can be purchased from any Twilight Theatre Board Member.  Featured homes are Debby and Farrell Allison, Mary Sweet, Jill and Scott Eller, and Erica and Gary Goodman.
