Art instruction for all ages is available this summer at the Vernon Filley Art Museum in Pratt.
Kids of all ages continue to enjoy the hands-on ceramics exhibit currently ongoing at the Vernon Filley Art Museum in Pratt, but even more fun is in store at the list of summer art classes was recently released.
All classes will be held at the ACE building unless otherwise noted, and include fees to cover the cost of art supplies needed. Register online or stop in at the museum.
For those just interested invisiting, the Doug Herren Ceramics Exhibit, which began April 20, continues through Saturday, July 21. A Permanent Collection Showcase Exhibition continues through Saturday, September 29 in the North Gallery. This exhibition highlights pastels and photographs from the Dr. Vernon & Emily “Mimi” Filley Permanent Collection. The exhibition also features new works of art (bronzes, ceramics, sculpture & more) that were recently donated to the museum permanent collection. Several of these pieces have not yet been on display during the museum’s history. There are seven newly accessioned works included in the exhibition.

Advanced Digital Photography

Mommy and Me: Flower Pots

Acrylic Canvas Painting “The Beach”

Intermediate Oils: Structures in Landscapes
Description: This two-day workshop will observe landscape structures and develop an oil painting. Multiple skill/ experience levels are welcome! Marbled Paper Class: Eric Carle Style

Flag Quilt Painting

A Balancing Act

3 Session Ceramics Class

Acrylic Pour Party
Description: This one night class will be messy, but will result in three separate projects at this pour party. Acrylic pours take no skill, and the results are amazing.
