GREENSBURG - Patty Louise Miller, 83, of Greensburg, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. Patty was born on April 18, 1933 South of Greensburg to Ray and Helen Newby. 

She graduated high school in 1951 from Greensburg High School as class valedictorian. After graduation, she went to work at Greensburg Equipment for Art Barber. She married James Ronald Miller on November 29, 1953 and was a bookkeeper for the family farm. Patty was a member of the First Christian Church and active in church functions for many years.

Patty leaves behind to carry on her legacy: Daughter: Pamela Miller of Amarillo, Texas, Son: Chris Miller (Leigh Anne) of Greensburg, Kansas, Granddaughters: Kayla Spencer (Alex) of Springfield, Missouri, and Sydney Miller of Springfield, Missouri.    

A memorial service and celebration of Patty’s life was held at the Greensburg Christian Church (1210 South Main Street) on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
