Community Needs
The Kiowa County Memorial Hospital and the Kiowa County Health Department will hold a community town hall meeting from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday Feb. 21 in the basement conference room in the Kiowa County Courthouse. Friends Concert
The Haviland Friends Church will host a benefit concert at 7 p.m. on February 4 at their building in Haviland. The concert will raise money for the church’s missionary work. Tim Rogers, Kiowa County Schools Director of Bands and his wife Heathyr will perform along with vocal teacher Kim Stewart, Amber Campbell and others. Donations will be accepted at the door. A reception will follow at Origins coffee shop.
Chamber Banquet
The Kiowa County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet at 6 p.m. on Jan. 28 at the Kiowa County Community Building in Greensburg. There will be a pork loin dinner catered by Cook’s Meat and Mr. Troy Unruh, a life coach and motivational speaker will be the guest speaker. Ticket are available at the Chamber office or Greensburg State Bank.
Groundhog Supper
The Mullinville United Methodist Church will host its annual Goundhog Day Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 4 at their church in Mullinville. There will be pankcakes, fresh pork sausage, apple sauce and drinks. Cost is a free will donation and everyone is invited.
Chocolate Dreams
Children Worth Saving, Inc in Dodge City will host “Chocolate Dreams” a benefit silent and live auction on Feb. 4 at the Dodge House Hotel and Convention Center. For more information or tickets, please call 620-225-1278.
