GHS's volleyball team defeated Haviland Tuesday night in Regional play, before losing 27-25 and 25-23 to host Skyline.  As the runnerup in Regional the girls go on to SubState play this Saturday in Montezuma.

The Lady Rangers (32-5) are in Bracket B, meaning they'll face Jetmore (30-9) at 5 p.m. Saturday, and if successful they'll likely play St John (30-8) in order to advance to the championship round.

GHS lost to St. John in SubState finals last year, St. John then going on to win State.

Though Greensburg has defeated Jetmore twice already this year, Coach Randy Fulton sounded a cautionary note about Saturday's match.  "You're always nervous about facing a good team for a third time in one season," he said.  "But all the teams you'll face are good."
