  • The Ashland Bluejays hit six of their 10 shots in the first quarter to build an eight-point lead and never looked back on the way to a 57-52 victory over the Spearville Royal Lancers in Southern Plains-Iroquois Activities Association action. Ashland shot 11-of-18 from the field in the first half on the way to lead 29-23 at halftime. The Bluejays scored 20 points on second chances. Corey McCann scored 18 points to lead the Bluejays, while Grant Meininger added 17 and Alex Ornelas 12 in the victory. Nathan Stein scored 15 points to lead Spearville with Kaden Stein adding 13 and Luke Heskamp 11 in the setback.
