Carry your replacement string with you in a convenient caddy

Club member Ricky Nicholson of Stokes, North Carolina, was tired of trudging to the garage every time he needed to replace the line on his string trimmer. So he created a cutting-line caddy from a short length of PVC pipe and a couple of end caps. He cemented one end cap to the bottom of the pipe section and placed the other cap on top for a lid; then he used zip ties to secure the tube to the shaft of his string trimmer. Now he simply pops off the lid and pulls out a fresh length of cutting line whenever he needs one. Brought to you by: American Profile
