After losing its first game to Baker 6-5, and its second contest on Saturday to Oklahoma City 5-0, USM bounced back Sunday to defeat Baker 14-13. In its final game of the weekend, the Spires lost to Oklahoma City 7-6.
USM, 4-7, will host Benedictine at 1 p.m. Thursday.
