Donald Wayne "Donnie" Collins, Jr., 50, died December 27, 2012 at Victoria Falls Nursing Facility, Andover, Kansas. He was born January 21, 1962 in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Donald Wayne, Sr. and Charlene (Tolliver) Collins. Donnie had been employed in dirt construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He had lived in Holden, MO, Greensburg, Dodge City, and Wichita, KS. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He was preceded in death by his father March 3, 2012 and his mother in June 2, 2012. Survivors include two sons Donald Collins,III and Josh Collins, two daughters Nichole Collins and Nichchelle Collins, a brother Merle and wife Ruby Collins, Greensburg, two half-brothers Matthew Collins, Garden City, KS, and Donnie Gene Collins, Eugene, OR, two half-sisters Shayla Collins, Junction City, KS, and Cindy Riedlinger, Kansas City, MO, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services and celebration of Donnie's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Greensburg Mennonite Church, Greensburg, Kansas, with Rev. Jeffrey D. Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Haviland Cemetery, Haviland, Kansas. The family suggest that those attending the funeral wear Kansas City Chiefs colors (Red and Yellow).
