Charles Neelly of Mullinville is at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita after his vehicle struck a guardrail last week.
According to Kansas Highway Patrol Neelly was traveling southbound on Hwy. 61 north of Arlington at aprox. 5 p.m. on Tues. Jan. 15 when his 2004 Ford Expedition struck a right side guard rail. After striking the guard rail the car traveled across the northbound lane crashing through a bridge railing and landing in a river.
Neelly was taken to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center before he was transported to Wesley.
Earlier in the week a member of the family said Neelly was “better, but not great” and was listed as being in critical condition on Tuesday morning.
