The answer to the question in the headline above is that the right-wing noise machine would blow a gasket.

But no, President Obama’s campaign chairman was not born in Cuba and is not of Palestinian descent. That description applies, instead, to the chairman of Mitt Romney’s campaign, John Sununu (above)

Sununu’s lineage would be irrelevant if it weren’t for the likelihood that a big fuss would arise if it did, in fact, apply to anyone in a position of authority in Obama’s campaign. In such a case, a Republican partisan of Sununu’s bigoted variety likely would be a leader in making the fuss.
