Maurine E. Frink, age 87, died Oct. 6, 2012 in St. John. She was born Apr. 18, 1925 in Greensburg, KS., the daughter of William O. and Mabel E. (Kennedy) Dorland. On Nov. 26, 1944, she married Robert H. Frink, Jr. in Greensburg, KS., he survives. A resident of St. John since 1954, she worked in the Stafford Co. Clerk’s office and twenty years as office manager for Farm Bureau Insurance of St. John. Her memberships include, First Baptist Church, Bernina Sewing Club, Town and Country Mother’s Club and was a 1943 graduate of Greensburg High School. Other survivors include a son, Steven Frink (Jolene); a daughter, Bobbett Davis (Jack), all of St. John, KS.; four grandchildren, Troy Frink(Karla), Brian Davis, Kevin D. Davis (Laura) all of St. John, KS., Tonia Huslig (Larry), Pratt, KS.; six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Gene Dorland; three sisters, Evelyn Foster, Ruth Darby, Marion Adams.
Memorial service were on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, St. John, with Pastor Terry West presiding. Inurnment followed in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John. Visitation was on Tuesday from 2-8pm at the funeral home, with family present from 6-8pm. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church or Lucille Hall Museum in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O.
