Betty Irene Todd, 81, died September 22, 2012 in the Harper District #5 Hospital, Harper, Kansas. She was born September 18, 1931 near Greensburg, Kansas, the daughter of Cecil R. and Helen Irene (Hubbard) Vice. A lifetime resident of Greensburg, Betty was a homemaker. She graduated from Greensburg High School in 1950. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, UMW, Just-a-mere Club and the Smiling Seamers, all of Greensburg. On November 17, 1950, Betty married Billie D. Todd in Greensburg. He preceded her in death April 25, 1993. Survivors include one son Ronald and wife Delane Todd, Pretty Prairie, Kansas, a daughter Shirley and husband Danny Moore, Anthony, Kansas, a sister Eleanor Nielsen, Seven Grandchildren, Derek Moore, Dedra Rathgeber, Andy Hoeme, Brad Hoeme, Chadra Hill, Shanna Todd, and Billie Todd, and six Great-grandchildren. Betty was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Larry Hoeme. Funeral services and celebration of Betty's life were held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, with Pastor Terry Mayhew officiating. Viewing was 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg.
