Forrest Lee Einsel-Lewis, 89, died September 5, 2012 in the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg. She was born March 9, 1923 in rural Northwest Kiowa county near the Edwards County line, the daughter of Murphy Scott and Pauline Mary (Brecheisen) Miller. Forrest Lee graduated from Kinsley High School in 1941. A lifetime resident of Kiowa County, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and UMW, the Kiowa County Health Foundation, the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, P.E.O., Just-A-Mere Club, JB Club, SIL, Alpha Study Club, Priscilla Club and several Bridge Clubs, all of Greensburg. In 1944 she married Charles Einsel. He preceded her in death July 11, 1975. In 1985 she married Clarence Lewis. He preceded her August 2, 2008. Forrest Lee is survived by Nieces and Nephews- Glenda Kay Kinyon, David White, Priscilla Brack, Joyce Higdon, Harold Miller, and Marshall Miller, Step-grandchildren Butch Pyle, Vicki Baucum, Jane Pyle, Chuck, Tom, and David Taylor and their families. She was also preceded in death by two sisters Eloise Eaton and Evelyn White, and a brother Edward R. Miller, and Step-granddaughter Joan Munger. Funeral services and celebration of her life were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg with Rev. Charles Kinyon and Pastor Terry Mayhew officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. A viewing was held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Fleener Funeral Home.
