Kiowa County tortoise has been found

Mr. and Mrs. Lowery of Kiowa County reported that their beloved lost tortoise has been found alive and unharmed.

The rare saharan tortoise has been missing for almost two weeks when it was found near by,  five miles from the Lowerys home in central Kiowa County by a neighbor.

It had been thought that "Leona" may have been picked up by a passing motorist.
