  • Lola Louise (Hargadine) Brensing, 90, Naperville, Il, formerly of Mullinville, Kansas graduated to heaven on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the home of her daughter.
She was born May 17, 1922 in rural Kiowa County to Rufus and Bernice Hargadine.  Lola graduated from Mullinville High School in 1941 and attended Central Christian College in McPherson, Kansas before marrying fellow high school classmate Elbert Paul Brensing, November 25, 1943.  To this union came Judy Paulette and Stanley Paul.

Her faith in God guided her.  She was prayerful, enjoyed old gospel music and televised Billy Graham Crusades.  She was a good seamstress, did lovely handwork, was always a gracious host with a warm smile, a joyful spirit and a listening ear.

Lola was involved in her church, Federated Women’s Clubs and Sewing Circle.   She was a loving wife, adoring mother, grandmother, caring friend and neighbor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Lorraine Adams and brother Curtis Hargadine.
