“Very few wrestlers double-dip, as we call it, and Mason has done it twice this season,” said Greensburg Rec. Wrestling Coach Shawn Cannon.  “However, it is very rare that a wrestler double-dipping places so high in both age divisions.  You have to remember that he could actually be wrestling some 11-year olds in the upper age division.  He had a great day.”

Caydan Pore took 4th in the 8&U 58lb class.  Connor Pore, who participated in the 8&U 49lbs, and Ashlind Gumpenberger, who participated in the10&U 67lbs also participated at Cimarron.  Up next for the wrestling team is Ellsworth on Feb. 25, followed by Hays on March 3 and then qualifying for Kids State Wrestling Championships begin March 10.
