Community Events this week.
The Kiowa County FSA will host two CRP informational meetings to talk about the general CRP sign up. The first will be at 9 a.m. on Tues. March 6 and the second at 1:30 p.m. on Wed. March 7. Refreshments will be served at both of the meetings that will take place at the local FSA office at 122 E. Illinois Ave in Greensburg.
Barclay College will host ‘With Everything: Take Heart 2012’, a night of worship at 7 p.m. on March 31. This is a free event. For more information visit: barclaycollege.edu/witheverything
The Iroquois Center is sponsoring a Chili cook-off and brownie battle from 5-7 p.m. on Friday March 2 at the United Methodist Church in Greensburg. Judging begins at 5 p.m. The entry fee is $20 for chili cookers and there will be five prizes in three categories. Tickets are $5 for all-you-can-eat chili and one vote. The Kiowa County Chamber of Commerce will host a forum with Kansas State Sen. Ruth Teichman and State Rep. Kyle Hoffman at 9 a.m. on May 27 at the 547 Art Center in Greensburg.

The Big Well Museum is looking for residents to record their stories for the new museum. Residents are encouraged to come to the Kiowa County Media Center in the Commons building from 1-5 p.m. on March 1, and 9-10:30 a.m. on March 2 to record audio of their stories.
